Although anxiety in itself is a very ordinary psychological state, it can sometimes get out of hand and turn into constant violent bouts of attacks which resulted in what we call anxiety disorders which may be attributed to a number of underlying causes. The exact causes of it is, however, not fully comprehended or fully defined as at this time.
Different medical professionals formulate dissimilar theories as to why anxiety disorders happened in the first place. Some of the resulting effects of anxiety are palpitations, giddiness, and breathing difficulty, as a result of certain mental conditions as well as weak physical conditions giving rise to anxiety disorders. Still others may feel heavy pounding of heart, weakness physically, numb hands, chest pains, smothering sensations and a sense of unreality which will lead to one believing in him or her having heart attacks or stroke or even having the feeling that one is dying.
Sometimes, medicines may do more harm than good although it is not known from the onset of prescriptions. Some drugs that doctors administered as a cure for certain diseases will in fact, caused an anxiety effect within us resulting in constant attacks and hence anxiety disorders.Anxiety attacks may also be a result of stress as one worry too much about certain aspect of lives. Work, school, finances, relationship, health are all areas where stress are commonly associated with.
Generally, when a sufferer wield to the attack of anxiety disorders, it is normally between a few minutes to 10 minutes. Some extreme case of sufferer has had attacks for an hour or more but this is only in very rare cases.
What the medical professionals know of the causes of anxiety are limited and still remain a hypothetical conclusion. Until we know the exact reasons behind the causes of anxiety, we can only base our cure on what we already know as the possible causes of anxiety in the first place and carry on from there until the mystery is dispelled once and for all.
